What is fit? Being physically fit can be defined in many different ways, however most exercise physiologists would define it as "the condition in which a person performs well."
We would say that being fit is not just about being strong but also being in good shape all round. Any athlete, no matter which sport has to be fit to perform well.
Do you want to try boxing? Its not an aerobic sport as such but it does require overall fitness for sudden bursts of activity as well as strength. If you aren't fit (if you are the strongest person out there) you will begin to tire quickly as you have no endurance.
So, 'What is fit?' it is a combination of things, having both strength (for certain activities) and having endurance which is gained through doing aerobic exercises.
A good combination of exercises would be both strength training and cardiovascular training, which will give you a nice combination of strength and endurance.
Being fit can enhance your whole well-being in mind and body and is often thought of as a form of relaxing the body from the stresses of everyday life.
